About the Clock Resource Guide

The history of clocks in general is very long, and there have been many different types of clocks created throughout our history. Not all historians agree on the history of the clock, but the word clock originated in the 14th century and comes from the word "clocca" (bell) in Latin.

Collecting clocks from various periods is something I've always wanted to do but just never had the time. With so many styles and types of clocks, I would imagine it could easily turn into a full time, all consuming passion.

Regardless if you are a collector or simply looking for that special clock for your home office, kitchen, living room, bedroom or outdoors, you are sure to find a clock on this site that is interesting, functional, and affordable. You'll notice that these clocks are much cheaper (and sometimes as much as 50% cheaper) than retail prices.
